Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

RoyaltyPeek is built to be private by design. It reads only the Amazon book page you are currently viewing, in your own browser, to calculate an estimate. It does not track you and does not send your browsing anywhere.

What we do not collect

What stays on your device

The following is stored locally in your browser (via chrome.storage) and is never transmitted to us:

Reading the Amazon page

To produce an estimate, RoyaltyPeek reads the content of the Amazon book page you have open (such as the Best Sellers Rank, price, and format). This processing happens entirely in your browser. RoyaltyPeek does not use the Amazon API and does not scrape search results or any other pages.

Purchases and licensing

Payments and licensing are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. When you buy or activate a license, your license key is sent to Lemon Squeezy to verify it. We never see or store your card details. Lemon Squeezy's handling of your data is governed by their privacy policy.

Permissions we request

Estimates disclaimer

Sales and royalty figures are rough estimates based on public BSR-to-sales patterns and your settings. They will not match actual sales exactly. RoyaltyPeek is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Amazon or Kindle Direct Publishing.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated date above will change. Material changes will be reflected in the extension's listing.
